Lead Abatement Supervisor Refresher Training in English Language (In Person) \nDate: Saturday\, October 26\, 2024 \nTime: 8:00AM to 4:30PM \nStandard Cost: $130.00 per person* \n*IMPORTANT!!!! DISCOUNT: Please note that for the purpose of reopening our Meriden\, CT training location\, Earth Environmental is offering a 15% discount per person for all refresher trainings held at the Meriden\, CT location. \nDiscounted Cost: $110.00 per person** \n**This discounted price is only applicable for training courses done at our Meriden\, CT training location. \nTRAINING INFORMATION\nThe Lead Supervisor Refresher is an Approved CT DPH training. Therefore\, is also an accredited EPA Training which satisfies OSHA requirements. \n \nThe training is an overview of the following but not limited to definition of what is lead\, where is the material found\, health effects for lead exposure\, how to prepare the work area\, safe and healthy requirements to protect the workers\, safety work practices\, waste preparation and disposal\, criteria to approve a lead abatement\, paperwork requirements and any lead industry related news. \nThe student must pass the final exam with a minimum 70% grade. The student will receive a certification for Lead Abatement Refresher Training at the end of the training as long as student passes the final exam\, submits all required paperwork and full payment is received. \nThe refresher training is required annually unless mandated by Connecticut Department of Public Health. If any student goes past the refresher training certificate expiration date by one day\, the student cannot work. Any student who has not taken a refresher training for 2 years or more requires the student to take the initial training again.  \nATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS  \nEach student must register online and pay in advance to reserve their seat. We accept cash\, check and credit or debit cards.  \nEach student must submit the following documents: \n\nA copy of the Lead Supervisor Initial Training (40 Hrs.) Certificate\nA copy of the last Lead Supervisor refresher (8 hrs.)
