Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Refresher Training (In Person) \nDate: Saturday\, February 7\, 2026 \nTime: 8:00AM to 5:00PM \nStandard Cost: Please call office for pricing at 203-831-8911 \n*Please note that if payment is made by credit or debit card there is an additional fee of $5.00 per person. \nTRAINING INFORMATION\nThe Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Refresher is an Approved CT DPH training. Therefore\, is also an accredited EPA Training which satisfies OSHA requirements. \n \nThe training includes a review and discussion of the following but not limited to changes in and interpretation of applicable state and federal laws\, regulations\, policies and guidelines\, developments or changes in state-of-the art procedures and equipment and a review of key areas of initial training specific to each discipline.  \nThe student must pass the final exam with a minimum 70% grade. The student will receive a certification for Asbestos Refresher Training as long each student meets the training and company requirements. \nThe refresher training is required annually unless mandated by Connecticut Department of Public Health. If any student goes past the refresher training certificate expiration date by one day\, the student cannot work. Any student who has not taken a refresher training for 2 years or more requires the student to take the initial training again.  \nATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS  \nEach student must register online and pay in advance to reserve their seat. We accept cash\, check and credit or debit cards.  \nEach student must submit the following documents: \n\nA copy of the Asbestos Supervisor Initial Training (40 Hrs.) Certificate\nA copy of the last Asbestos Supervisor refresher (8 hrs.) Training Certificate\nA copy of the CT DPH Asbestos Abatement Supervisor License \n\nIMPORTANT: please be aware standard procedure is to provide training certificates at the end of the course as long as the student has completed and met all of the mandatory training requirements and full payment has been provided. if for whatever reason the training certificate is not provided on site. The training certificate will be mailed to the students address listed on their registration form within 5 business days from the first Monday after the class.
