Therefore\, is also an accredited EPA Training which satisfies OSHA requirements. \n \nThe training is an overview of the following but not limited to definition of what is lead\, where is the material found\, health effects for lead exposure\, how to prepare the work area\, safe and healthy requirements to protect the workers\, safety work practices\, waste preparation and disposal\, criteria to approve a lead abatement\, paperwork requirements and any lead industry related news. \nThe student must pass the final exam with a minimum 70% grade. The student will receive a certification for Lead Abatement Refresher Training at the end of the training as long as student passes the final exam\, submits all required paperwork and full payment is received. \nThe refresher training is required annually unless mandated by Connecticut Department of Public Health. If any student goes past the refresher training certificate expiration date by one day\, the student cannot work.
