Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Refresher Training (In Person) \nDate: Saturday\, November 9\, 2024 \nTime: 8:00AM to 4:00PM \nStandard Cost: $130.00 per person* \n*IMPORTANT!!!! DISCOUNT: Please note that for the purpose of reopening our Meriden\, CT training location\, Earth Environmental is offering a 15% discount per person for all refresher trainings held at the Meriden\, CT location. \nDiscounted Cost: $110.00 per person** \n**This discounted price is only applicable for training courses done at our Meriden\, CT training location. \nTRAINING INFORMATION\nThe Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Refresher is an Approved CT DPH training. Therefore\, is also an accredited EPA Training which satisfies OSHA requirements. \n \nThe training includes a review and discussion of the following but not limited to changes in and interpretation of applicable state and federal laws\, regulations\, policies and guidelines\, developments or changes in state-of-the art procedures and equipment and a review of key areas of initial training specific to each discipline.  \nThe student must pass the final exam with a minimum 70% grade. The student will receive a certification for Asbestos Refresher Training as long each student meets the training and company requirements. \nThe refresher training is required annually unless mandated by Connecticut Department of Public Health. If any student goes past the refresher training certificate expiration date by one day\, the student cannot work. Any student who has not taken a refresher training for 2 years or more requires the student to take the initial training again.  \nATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS  \nEach student must register online and pay in advance to reserve their seat. Asbestos Abatement Worker Refresher Training in Spanish Language (In Person) \nDate: Saturday\, November 16\, 2024 \nTime: 8:00AM to 4:00PM \nPrice: $130.00 per person \nINFORMACIÓN DE ENTRENAMIENTO \nEste entranamiento esta approvado por CT DPH .Por lo tanto\, también es un entramiento acreditada por la EPA que cumple con los requisitos de OSHA. \n \nLa capacitación es una descripción general de lo siguiente\, pero no se limita a la definición de qué es el asbesto\, qué es el material que contiene asbesto\, dónde se encuentra el material\, los efectos en la salud por la exposición al asbesto\, cómo preparar el área de trabajo\, los requisitos de seguridad y salud para proteger el trabajadores\, prácticas laborales seguras\, preparación y eliminación de desechos\, criterios para aprobar una reducción de asbesto\, requisitos de papeleo y cualquier noticia relacionada con la industria del asbesto. \nEl alumno deberá aprobar el examen final con una nota mínima del 70%. El estudiante recibirá una certificación de entrenamiento de actualización de asbesto siempre que cumpla con todos los requisitos de entrenamiento y de la empresa. \nLa capacitación de actualización se requiere anualmente a menos que lo ordene el Departamento de Salud Pública de Connecticut. Si algún estudiante pasa la fecha de vencimiento del certificado de capacitación de actualización por un día\, el estudiante no puede trabajar.
